FOR SCHOOLS

Workshops that make students actually think about their future — and want to work for it

Delivered in your school by Safiyah Rani — medical student, founder, and someone who has sat exactly where your students are sitting.

WHY IT MATTERS

The mission is to bridge the gap between a student's potential and their level of performance and achievement.

Students tend to think GCSEs feel a long way away until they’re too soon. Students are coasting, habits aren’t built yet, and the sense of urgency hasn’t hit. By the time it does – usually Year 11 – it’s panic mode. Bad habits have been reinforced, confidence is low, and the window to change direction has narrowed.

These workshops meet students before that moment. Not with pressure or empty motivational slogans — but with honesty, relatability, and a message that actually lands: your future is being built right now, whether you’re paying attention or not.

WHAT STUDENTS TAKE AWAY

From Mindset to Marks - What the session covers

These sessions don’t feel like a lesson. They feel like a conversation students didn’t know they needed. The goal isn’t to add more pressure — it’s to change the relationship students have with their own potential.

The specific content and activities are tailored to each session — but the result is consistent: students walk out with positive and constructive thoughts to reflect on and apply going forward. Each workshop is built around the honest conversations students rarely get in a classroom. The content is direct, age-appropriate, and grounded in what actually gets through to young people.

WHO DELIVERS IT

Meet Safiyah

Safiyah Rani is a medical student, tutor of six years, and founder of StudyNova. She started tutoring at 16 and has worked in schools — seeing firsthand the potential students have, as she worked to understand why there was sometimes a gap between this and their current level of achievement.

Her own school journey began with disengagement. The right inspiration changed her path entirely. That experience is at the heart of every session she delivers — and it’s what makes students actually listen.

“My mission is to bridge the gap between a student’s potential and their level of performance and achievement. No child isn’t worth the dedicated time and energy. I’ve experienced it myself & witnessed it first hand – all it took was someone to understand them, and everything about their academic journey changed.”
