Welcome to StudyNova Ltd, operated by Safiyah Rani. These Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using our website, enrolling in our programmes, and participating in our lessons. By accessing or using any part of StudyNova Ltd, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

1. About StudyNova Ltd

StudyNova Ltd is an online educational platform offering live, curriculum-based webinar lessons for GCSE students in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. We also provide questions for homework, academic Q&A support via email, and optional online 1-to-1 monthly check-in meetings for students enrolled in the 12-month 4 x subject plan if needed.

2. Age Requirement & Parental Consent

StudyNova Ltd does not permit students under 18 to enrol themselves.
All student enrolments must be completed by a parent or legal guardian who is over 18.

By enrolling a student, the parent/guardian confirms:

• They are legally responsible for the student’s participation.
• They give full consent for the student to use the platform.
• They have read and agreed to these Terms on behalf of the student.

We reserve the right to suspend or revoke access if we become aware that this condition is violated.

3. Description of Services

StudyNova Ltd provides:

• Weekly live online group lessons via Zoom (webinar-style: students are muted and off-camera).
• Optional academic Q&A via email with an aimed 48-hour response window.
• Curated study materials.
• Lessons follow the full GCSE subject specification plan for curriculum.
• Students enrolled on the 12-month 4-subject bundle are entitled to one optional 1-to-1 Zoom check-in per month with Safiyah Rani, for:

• Reviewing academic progress
• Clarifying academic confusion
• Offering tailored study support

These sessions must be requested and booked in advance by the parent or student, as they are subject to availability.

4. Subscription & Billing

We offer flexible subscription plans:

• Monthly (recurring billing)
• 6-monthly (recurring billing)
• 12-month 4-subject bundle (includes extra benefits)

All subscriptions:

• Begin upon receipt of payment – first lesson will be the week commencing 1^st September, and subsequent payments will be from this date (e.g. second monthly billing date with be 1^st October, even if first payment was made in July 2025.)
• Auto-renew unless cancelled
• Can be cancelled at any time by cancelling your direct debit

5. Strict No Refund Policy

StudyNova Ltd does not offer refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Missed sessions
• Scheduling conflicts
• Changes in personal or academic circumstances
• Unused portions of a subscription
• Dissatisfaction with course content

Please ensure the suitability of the service before enrolling.

6. Lesson Format and Behaviour Expectations

All lessons are delivered in webinar mode via Zoom:

• Students are muted and not visible on camera.
• Interaction is managed via Q&A or chat, if permitted.
• No content sharing or disruption is allowed.

We reserve the right to remove any student who is disruptive, disrespectful, or in violation of community conduct — without refund.

7. Use of Zoom and Third-Party Platforms

All live classes are hosted via Zoom. By attending, you agree to Zoom’s own Terms and Privacy Policy. StudyNova Ltd is not responsible for technical failures, outages, or changes made by third-party providers.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on StudyNova Ltd— including videos, lessons, lesson plans, resources, and emails — is owned by Safiyah Rani and protected by copyright. No part of the platform may be copied, shared, recorded, or republished without written permission.

9. Health, Safety & Supervision Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• StudyNova Ltd and Safiyah Rani accept no responsibility for any injury, wellbeing, or health issue (physical, mental, or emotional) that may arise while or from using the platform.
• Parents/guardians remain solely responsible for supervising the student’s participation.
• We do not supervise or monitor students in their home learning environments.

10. Limitation of Liability

By using StudyNova Ltd, you agree that:

• You participate at your own risk.
• We do not guarantee specific results, academic improvements, or grade outcomes.
• StudyNova Ltd is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss resulting from the use (or inability to use) the service.
• StudyNova Ltd is a webinar-style tutoring platform, so it and Safiyah Rani, the tutor, have no further responsibility than to deliver the lessons on an online platform

11. Technical Issues

You are responsible for ensuring you have access to the necessary technology and internet connection. We are not liable for your device issues, local connectivity problems, or missed lessons due to technical difficulties.

12. Data & Privacy

Our [Privacy Policy] outlines how your data is collected, stored, and used in compliance with UK GDPR.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors without guardian consent. Your use of the site confirms your agreement with the privacy policy.

13. Changes to Services or Terms

We reserve the right to update course content, schedules, policies, or pricing at any time.
We may revise these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and all services provided by StudyNova Ltd are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be handled exclusively by the English courts.
